The Unforsaken Realm: Exodus
Prologue
While serving as a leading commander in the Pharaoh's military, Moses and soldiers under his command showed compassion to the Israelites and other slaves in service of the Pharaoh. This ultimately led to Pharaoh sending Moses into exile. Many of his soldiers deserted Egypt to remain near Moses' side as shepherds in the outlands.
In the outlands, these soldiers kept their ranks and established an academy to raise their next generation in arts of combat while also teaching them the same sense of compassion toward those in need and the duty to protect those who need protection.
This new generation has been called to into the service of the Lord.
You will guide a group of trusted allies through the front lines of the war between the God of Israel and the gods of Egypt. While Moses attempts to negotiate the release of the slaves from Pharaoh, your quest will be to free the lands from the clutches of Heket, Seth (Set), Khepri, Ra, and more.
What really happened to the gods of Egypt?
You will learn the significance behind the plagues and come to find that these were not merely allegories, but actual events caused by God's punishment against the Fallen Angels that positioned themselves as the gods of Egypt.
Plans for future development
As previously mentioned, The Unforsaken Realm is intended to be a series with Exodus being the first title released in the series.
While there are other titles currently being outlined for development, there are still features, quests, additional content, and updated graphics planned for Exodus. I am an individual creator with other side projects, a family, and a full time job, so I have to prioritize which projects are getting how much attention at any given time.
Based on community feedback and discussions, you can help steer my priorities. And through your donations, I will be able to dedicate more time to additional content and even outsourcing portions of work or purchasing/licensing assets to use in my productions. I also plan to use funds for advertising and brand awareness.
The goal behind Exodus was initially to get the game to this state, where it is a complete story in its own right, but where there is plenty of room for additional content, side quests, characters, and more. The intent is to get the funding and opportunities needed to develop The Unforsaken Realm as a full production studio series.
